 SUN. JAN 4 - Depart US for SCT

MON. JAN 5 - Arrive Edinburgh Airport, taxi/tram to city (included), settle into accommodations (included), informal walking tour of the Old City/Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle (included), The Gorms @ Whiski (included). (*The Gorms are a Scottish folk/punk band. I've seen them twice in Edinburgh. They're amazing.)

TUES. JAN 6 - Edinburgh, optional sunrise hike (2 hrs) to Arthur's Seat summit, 1 hr. hike to Sheep Head Inn for lunch (included), free time, Dave Rudden/Sister Wake event Waterstones (tentative)

WEDS. JAN 7 - Chartered bus to Stonehaven (included), settle into Ship Inn sea facing rooms (included), 1 hr hike to Dunnottar Castle, dinner (included), group reading in Ship Inn lounge

THURS. JAN 8 - Chartered bus to Findhorn (included), settle into rooms (included), hike to Findhorn Foundation (dunes) and haunted Kinloss Abbey, drinks/pool at Abbey Inn, dinner in Findhorn (not included), group reading and/or lecture, drinks at Crown & Anchor/Kimberly Inn

MON. JAN 12 - Breakfast (included), charter bus to Urquhardt Castle (w. panoramic views of Loch Ness), late lunch and writing time at Drovers Inn, the most haunted pub in Scotland, then on to  Edinburgh, free time, dinner with Scottish author Jeni Fagan (included, tentative)

TUES. JAN 13 - Breakfast (included), free time in Edinburgh, Edinburgh Castle, Victoria Street (said to be the inspiration of Diagon Alley), Underground Ghost Tour (included) of Greyfriars Kirkyard (often called the most haunted cemetery in the world) and the terrifying South Bridge Vaults (the undercity!)
